Met Norman on the tube in Glasgow. Simply the nicest, most down to earth manny. Legend.

Great to hear Norman talk about the Scottish Scene. I had forgot about Aztec Camera, but I was 18 when the first Jesus and Mary Chain album came out, and played it to death.

Norman and all of Fanclub are awesome. I had the pleasure to meet them at the 9:30 Club in DC back in 2005, when my girlfriend and two other friends got there way early and were sitting outside when their tour bus pulled up. They signed my Star Sign 12". Amazing show from some amazing guys.

I used to buy Guitarist magazine in the mid to late nineties and one day the newsagents didn’t have it but there was a copy of Guitar magazine so I bought that. I didn’t like the front cover. It had a band on there called Teenage Fanclub. Having seen this interview, knowing that they supported the likes of Radiohead and Nirvana, jet setting between Japan Australia and America whilst living in Canada I think it’s pretty cool of Norman to be this humble. I actually just finished watching a good film called Young Adult, Charlize Theron as lead character, and the movie is almost dominated by The Concept - a TF song - so….. kudos to them.

Great stuff, love Teenage Fanclub . Sad to hear Normans friend and bandmate Gerry Love is quitting the band after the current shows . Glad it's an amicable parting,no animosity etc , which is nice . End of an era, however I'm sure Gerry will still be blessing us with more sweet sounds in the future albeit not as a member of T F .

Norman is a fine singer and songwriter with a keen sense for the history of popular music. Many of his songs are infectious melodies that you never tire of hearing and he has used music to sometimes champion and give recognition to many other artists. He has a great awareness of the form. Great stuff!

This interviewer is brutal. Every little thing Blake says you hear a half-baked "yeah" in the background. Shut up, dude!

It was a great and respectful interview which was clearly time challenged.
