A good video idea would be hearing the opposing commentators calling plays that go against their team. Like the Machado throw vs the Yankees but hearing the YES network commentators, etc. I think that would be interesting cause many usually are good about giving props for fantastic plays made, even if it goes against their team.

7:06 The single greatest throw and catch, on the same play, in history ... usually you'll see an amazing throw with a decent snag, or an amazing catch on a decent throw ... but to have both on the same play ... none better
@johnortan18902 жыл бұрын
There have been many throws and catches like that. Its just happening near the end of a super bowl makes it more notable, but it doesn't make it the greatest throw or catch.
@PattyBandAidz2 жыл бұрын
@@johnortan1890 The fact that this took place in the SB, with the game on the line, a quarterback under pressure who threw off balance to a receiver who had the mental wherewithal to keep his toes in bounds and then stretch his arms out to the max, and still concentrate on catching a ball that was perfectly dropped over one defender, around another, and under a third, absolutely matters...every little nuance to this play amplifies it past any other. No one else on earth could have completed this play other than the two men who did it. You'd be hard pressed to find anything even close, but if you can, bring it to the table and we can talk about it. Without any examples to further your point, you don't have a leg to stand on. Obviously this is an objective statement on my part, but like I said, the situation matters. Greatest throw and catch on the same play in SPORTS history, not just the NFL.
@johnortan18902 жыл бұрын
@@PattyBandAidz it being the super bowl doesn't make a throw and catch that has been done tons of times any better. It just makes it done in the super bowl which is a better game. But players don't just lose their abilities in the super bowl. For instance the pass to foles in the endzone doesn't make that the greatest throw and catch just cause it isn't done in other super bowls. Its like saying "since you don't have other examples of the Philly special succeeding in the super bowl it must be the greatest pass and catch of all time. "
@PattyBandAidz2 жыл бұрын
@@johnortan1890 you're only looking at the physical aspect my friend. There is alot more to it than that. The moment, the pressure....open your eyes bud, see the whole picture. And to say that this particular throw and catch has been done "tons of time" is nothing short of a JOKE. This is the last response you're getting out of me, at this point you're disagreeing just to disagree, and I can't stand people like you. You know what the word contrarion means? Look it up.

Did anyone NOT flinch at 3:12 ??? LOL. ---- Also ladies... you are court-side... HEADS UP!!! 🤣🤣 Aunt Cheryl's cat photos can wait. P.S. Aaron Rogers is simply amazing....and that Roethlesburger to Holmes catch MIGHT be THE greatest catch in the history of the Superbowl... I mean, it's either this one, or the Giants David Tyree with his "helmet catch" in the previous year. To catch a ball that Big Ben threw high and fast, make the grab AND have presence of mind to drag both toes WHILE fully extending your body and falling out of bounds on your face... that's just incredible. I still can't believe that even happened, but if you watch every angle, he was in possession with both toes down. It almost looks supernatural. Santonio Holmes almost single-handedly delivered for Pittsburgh in that second half, just like Heath Miller came up clutch in the first half leading them to the first 10 points. Sprinkle in a Harrison pick-6 and you have one hell of a game.
