The Snuggerud, Pahlsonn and Zeimer line is the best in College hockey. All 3 will be strong contributors in the NHL in the next 4 years. The gophers still have some issues on Defense. Rinzel had his best game in quite awhile tonight but the remainder of the defense made some really poor decisions with the puck in their own end. They need to clean up their defensive play or they will get bounced early in the NCAA's.

The gophers biggest problem aside from being a more consistent team is their goaltending. Michigan State putting 9 on them last weekend was unbelievable. I wouldn't play airey the rest of the season

Happy the Gophers won. But anyone watching this game can not help but come away with this thought. The Gophers need to be stronger on the puck in the defensive zone. It was very evident in this game and in all their games against Michigan State. They are also not getting balanced scoring from their other lines in the last three games. Hopefully that changes on Saturday.
