Right, because that's what footy teams do, they announce how much respect for their opponents they have... BEFORE a big finals match. Sydney obviously did not match up well against Geelong, but really, the Cats stunk it up against Adelaide. In the end did they really deserve all that much respect? I really enjoy watching when one of the Scott brothers are coaching and their team gets stuffed.

I HATE the Tigers (and their fans) and have for a LONG time. I think you may be right though. IF it had been GWS it would probably have been the Crows in the GF but it is Richmond and much as I hate them, I have a feeling their brand of footy may be tailor made for a big game like that. Far too reliant on certain players, don't play as a team, too many inconsistent players and now I am convinced Chris Scott isn't a very good Coach as his shocking record in Finals post 2011 dictate.
