@@vdawg2224 Yes, but worse conditions help level the playing field for the less skilled team. An uneven pitch and rain creates randomness. Canada still outplayed Panama, but the gap was closer than it should have been. The conditions may have played a factor in that.

Weather and field conditions are excuses. Good teams and players adapt. If Zidane was on BMO field in Oct. he would still be Zidane.

Not just that, but after the initial pass, the ball changed direction and the CAN player before being passed for the goal, which at that point was not offside. I understand being in ineligible on the initial pass...but not 3 passes later!
