@@grantbyassee2594 his body was immediately in front of the keeper, thereby obscuring his view of the play. Anytime a player does that in an offside position, it’s going to get called. Fafa was offside by a full yard. A simple decision upon review.

They didn't show it, but both teams were pushing each other. Almost causing a brawl. Surprised they didn't show it, to help promote "rivalry week." If it was Seattle/Portland or LAFC/LA Galaxy, the League and ESPN would be all over this. Houston/Dallas, one of the top rivalries in the MLS.

That was a fun one. As an MLS fan I was happy to see the immediate impact HH's (decisive) distribution had for Dynamo. Hopefully our developing midfielders will benefit from his presence and that kind of MF decision making will become the league standard.

Incredible game. Herrera’s contribution to the pace was felt IMMEDIATELY! Let the Herrera-era begin! FCD solid corner for the first goal but Ferriera and the entire FCD bench were completely classless for taunting the fans after scoring to go up 2-1. Just score your goal and get back to work. Poetic justice that he missed a 1-1 that Dynamo countered to tie it up on. Also, Fafa missing wide in the 88’ and kicking over the video panels in frustration was all of us tonight. Sooooo wanted that goal (and the one they called back). Let’s go Dynamo!

Probably not, he just needs strkers to finish his plays but they strikers will definitely have many more opportunities now because his vision is impeccable.

This is what MLS needs. Intense derbies. Back in 06 and 07 el capitan aka Texas derby was intense. This match really did bring some life back into the derby. These refs are terrible, it's the worst part of mls. I've seen plenty of onside goals get called off. The problem is it's not consistent from game to game. You will see a goal discounted then the same exact goal from another team counted. There is no solution for now...

Ferreira's first goal doesnt make up for the gigantic miss he had on the one on one with the keeper.... I'm worried cuz we have seen Ferreira miss chances that a decent striker should put in... this wont work with the USMNT, you do this with the brazilian national team, you are gone.

I watched a few PSG games last season and saw Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe all miss goals you'd expect they finish. Against either Rennes or Lyon (I think it was) PSG lost and between the three players they didn't finish 10+ opportunities. It happens. The important point is they made the correct run to get the opportunity. Same goes for Ferrera. He had to know where to be and arrive there on time.
