John Stones' equaliser eight minutes into added time earned City a 2-2 draw in an explosive encounter at the Etihad.
The Blues started brightly and were ahead after just nine minutes through a smart Erling Haaland finish.
But after losing Rodrigo with injury on 22 minutes, the Gunners hit back with two goals before the break - one after a VAR check that suggested Ederson had been clearly impeded.

When a team is defending deep, Haaland should leave the penalty box and move to the edge of the box where he can get passes and shoot from outside the box. He has shot power and accuracy to score from outside the box instead of letting the defenders to do that. Playing in that position, he will have to improve his defensive skills so he doesn’t get dispossessed which can create a counter attack for the opponent.

Bcos it was already +7 minutes added time already and that was the last kick. Having defended from the start of the 2nd half against 11 men and the ref, was enough to feel broken that they(Man City) was able to conjure a point from the game at last. @@umukorofriday1239 I do maintain my view that despite having 10 men, ARTETA always comes to defend vs PEP, waiting for any opportunity or setting for a draw. It was a great point at ETHIAD away from home, but for me they should have taken all 3 points. ARTETA is the one to blame. The referee caused prejudice to CITY, and not to ARSENAL. The question is: Is that point enough in the perspective of the league table? for me, it wasn't enough. To win titles one needs to commit risks. This is what ARTETA never does. Last year he should have came to win to secure the title, but defended for a draw and later on lost the title. I just hope he wins this season defending the way he does.

With regards to the result City is frustrated to lose 2 points a home and can be beaten at EMIRATES, but ARTETA failed again on instructing his players to defend to deep for almost all the match and especially making a lot of wasting of time. It is not the first time an ARSENAL players on yellow card makes a waist timing just in front of the referee when the team is winning. It is the way ARTETA instruct his players to do in the pitch and today they lost two points due to this strategy. ARSENAL had this match won when two minutes were remaining but preferred to give the ball away in order to defend.
