Black Lion should play in URC. I am pretty sure, they would do decent.

I agree, but unfortunately, the main nations in the urc wouldn't do it because of financial reasons.

I wished the nations Türkiye and Greece were as strong as Georgia in rugby. Rugby will feel more like a global game if Türkiye and Greece were competitive.

I expected more from this Lusitanos lineup. The team woke up way too late.

It is too bad and sad, that Black Lion will be no more in 2 years. United rugby championshp is not interested in to add them into tournament, and BL has no other choice, they are just not developing on this level, and BL has tried everything" SA Cury cup, Latino American tournament, everything there is to gain name and experience. Now they need good level rugby every weekend, but there is none. So, there is talk about dibanding team. It is just waist of money for GRU and boys arent learning sh-it by playing these teams..

The Lusitanos put up a good fight in the second half, but it's not easy for these new franchises to evolve. Rugby Europe has very limited resources and the teams that were created for this tournament aren't really going anywhere. The format is very short and not involving enough to create a fan base. The Black Lion should try to compete in the URC but being in Georgia a major drawback in terms of travelling. I'll be sad to see them go, but I fear that's going to be the faith of most teams in this tournament.
