Honestly, as a Swiss, I was a bit torn when I saw Ambühl scoring the 3-2. I was glad for him and for the team, but I felt sad for Latvia and their fans. In the end, I'm really happy they were able to bounce back and qualify. Their crowd deserved it.

I just don't understand why Patrick Fischer didn't let the chance to Genoni to play. Yeah, maybe Mayer make an incredible game against CZE but just put our best goalies, so you can have a solid view between who is going to be the starter and the backup. But yeah, I think Mayer is gonna be the starter. I will be very disappointed if Genoni will begin the game against Germany. After, I'm a little bit sad for Van Pottelberg. He played incredibly well in the playoff. I think, this game didn't show what he can really do. But after, they were just better and they managed to keep the eyes on the second round. MAD respect to Latvia to keep believed in the victory when you took a goal at 6 minutes before the end.🖖🏻🇱🇻🇨🇭

Я не помню такого напряжения ни в одной игре! Стадион будто бы был заряжен энергией. Секунда за секундой темп не угасал. Латыши бились так, словно за проигрыш их казнят.

Ну не казнят, но мы бились за победу, чтобы выйти из группы, потому что это было необходимо!! Но я согласен эта игра самая напряжённая из всех, там 2:1 или 7:0 это как-то не было интересно, но тут мы бились чтобы выйти из группы и это дало большое напряжение + самую сильную сборную в группе выиграли и это классно! Очень жаль, конечно, что Швейцария слишком расслабилась и позволила латвии дожить до овертайма. Швейцария откровенно отдыхала сегодня перед плей офф и позволила латвии набрать очки. Хотя жаль, Швейцария должна была спокойно раскатывать латышей на классе.
