I love how, after all this time, Bernardo is still razor sharp focused on everything being explained. Thats a world champion.

As far as being a great student of BJJ, Bernardo is a GOAT
@shawnscientifica66892 жыл бұрын
The difference between a true master and a false master is the true master never loses his student status. This is something we say in taoism. Once you think you have nothing left to learn, you literally are just waiting to be surpassed and that's the end of your ability. Someone that keeps learning, is near impossible to beat. It's also why people who do things for fun vs for career, usually are better at the subject due to them diving deeper and never stopping once they can "perform a job well" they go beyond.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but being able to teach is inherently the best way to learn. How are you supposed to master something if you can’t explain it. It takes a village to make a man.

@@crazyden2345 You'll find a lot of great athletes don't make great coaches. This isn't always the case but it's definitely not uncommon. A lot of people can do but are poor at explaining and teaching. HOW THE HELL DO YOU ROLL ON YOUR SHOULDER LIKE THAT
@davidpignatore65322 жыл бұрын
Not difficult. Just takes getting used to. Grapplers been doing it forever. Tuck arms and head in, bring knees close to your body and try keeping both feet on the mat as you roll over your shoulders, helps to stay balled up when practicing. Same as a forward or backwards roll, just different starting position.
