I changed my diet on Feb 25th. I am on SNAP so I can't afford steaks etc, but I MAINLY eat bacon and eggs. In 89 days I lowered my A1C from 9.9 to 5.3! Triglycerides were 274 and are now 99. My stage 3 Kidney Disease is now "mild" my Dr said. (He's VERY PROUD of me!) And I've lost 25 lbs!! I'm SO HAPPY I found out about a "proper Human Diet"! ❤❤❤❤ Oh! I forgot to add, my HAIR is growing back in and my MUSCLES are increasing! (I'll be 62 next month)

I bought a couple sausage recipe books and a couple tools needed for making sausages, it was one of the best decisions I could have made, it's super easy and fun to do, and much healthier as mine contain no food colorings, corn starch, or sugars. Oh, and they are super delicious too.

Lost 75 lbs on keto by eating a lot of hotdogs, hotlinks, polish sausage, etc. I went with the ones with only 1 gram carbs per weiner instead of 2 grams like most. (Most all have sugar added). Their are some grass fed beef ones at Costco that are good. I sometimes put a dab of Head Country sugar free barbeque sauce on my plate and dip my dogs. There are so many ways you can do keto and be fully satisfied without hunger and without going broke. Eating steak is still cheaper than alcohol , cigarettes, and paying for medical care. I have the same story as a lot of your viewers, reversed type 2 diabetes with only the elevated LDL your doctor tries to give you the statins for. All these people getting healthy are proof that you have the answer. You are doing a great service to humanity. Keep up the great work!

60 days in at age 55 I have the abdomen that I had at 25. Years of working out and trying different ways to keep the muscle on and the fat weight off was a futile and losing battle. Wife suffered for years counting calories and restricting foods to maintain her figure, which led to fatigue and frustration because she was undernourished. For the first time in years she stopped counting calories on her phone app....that's huge. Now we eat well every day, no cravings, enough energy to work out every day and we look as though we are reverse ageing. We save money because we never throw out those rotten vegetables in our fridge, as we did not buy them in the first place. I don't give a damn what any of these 'experts' say to us, we are the experts of our own bodies and all it takes is the courage and the willingness to try. YOU are far smarter than you may think. Trust yourself.

Carnivore is actually not all that expensive when you put it into perspective. Like, us carns only have to eat once a day, vs the normies having to eat two or three times a day, and up to five or six for the stupid vegans! So, how much are you saving by NOT buying all those side dishes, the breakfast cerals, etc etc? And then, of course, there's the lack of medical bills or - if you're in socialist/communist Canada (where I am), the days off work waiting hours at the doctor's office or emerg (currently 17 hours' wait) when your health decides to take a tumble? Also, if you have the space and the means to slaughter and process, I highly recommend pigs or sheep! Both are easy keepers, but a sheep can replace your lawnmower and grow into food while saving you on gas, whereas pigs are better suited to woods/brushy environments.

One factor that probably negates any downside in processed meats is that their "cheapness" means they include gristle, organ meats, and fats that aren't in regular muscle meat. This moves you closer to the ideal of eating the whole animal, which is better nutrition than just eating lean muscle meat. BTW, I once knew an African man who said his people still ate the whole chicken, including the gristle and cracking the cooked bones for the marrow. This too is better nutrition that we no longer do.
@AgnesMariaL

Excellent point! I recall as a child my dad teaching us to bite the ends off the chicken bones, then crunching the bone in order to suck out the marrow - I had forgotten about that until seeing your comment, so will definitely go back to doing that! And we're not African: my dad is Dutch, so this is probably something that spans many cultures ;)

I cant say I am on a carnivore Diet. But I have always been a meat and potato's type of guy. Before I got married I lived on fast food and would get horrible cases of gout. Once I was married and had a stable schedule and quit buying any form of processed food It is rare that I get a case of gout! The only processed food we eat are the ones we make at home. We make our own Bacon, Corned Beef, All types of sausage, Pulled pork, Brisket you name it. From the garden we make our own Pickles, Tomato sauce, Sauerkraut, and can may other things. My thought was you know my grand parents never suffered from this shit so why do I? My conclusion was because they raised their own food! They did not live a life of convenience. So I went back to the old way's of doing things and it worked great for us! Anybody out there can afford pork but at 87 cents a pound when it is on sale stock up on it. There is so many things you can make out of it! To get good cuts of meat that are inexpensive buy a chuck roll! You can get a couple rib eyes out of it and many other very good cuts that if it was broken down would cost a fortune. Be independent! Do not rely on anybody other than you! That my friends will be a life well lived!

I remember one time I counted all the small bills, coins, down to the last penny hiding in the couch cushions, for grocery money. I managed to scrounge up $7 to buy a weeks worth of groceries. A package of (cheap) hotdogs was 2 meals. I don't remember everything else I bought with that $7, but I know there wasn't a lot of meat. When I first started on this path, the gentleman I first came across on YT was pushing the grassfed meat, grassfed butter, organic, etc. I remember asking if it had to be the expensive "grassfed" stuff. He gave no sympathy to anyone who couldn't afford it. In spite of his attitude I still switched to butter, just the cheaper store brand. And my meats? Well I have my own steer in the freezer right now, but before he went to "freezer camp" I was buying mostly reduced meats. And I still do, got over $50 worth today. This way of eating WORKS, even if you can't afford the "best".

It is sad, I eat occasional deli meat but start just cooking larger portion of chicken, beef, or steak and use leftovers as my lunches or following day dinners. I eat hot dogs and sausage all the time. My 12 year old daughter tries to live on hotdogs. I try to eat a steak at least once every couple of weeks. But for the most part it’s hamburger, hotdogs, sausage, pork chops and as little chicken as possible. But when I do get chicken I get thighs or quarters. Not much lean, white meat. I’ve felt so much better since I quit all the veg and grains. Thank you Dr. Berry for your honest take on nutrition.

Pork roasts at my supermarket are regularly under $2 per pound. Slow cooked in the oven for about 3 hours and you have some excellent eating. Its a lot cheaper than $6/pound lunch meat and hot dogs (which I still eat)

The processed meat thing is no different than how they told us how all saturated fat will give you a heart attack and for us old heads, the food pyramid that told us eating tons of bread and all the other carbs at the top of the pyramid is what would help us live to 100. Its all about the money in the food industry!

We are doing our best right now in the shape things are in. My husband cured his diabetes by eating dirty keto/carnivore not the best meat. He's no longer on medication. I'm so glad you have shared this. 🥲 I have beat myself up because things have been so hard. We bought a cow and shared the meat with other family members. We still eat lunch meat and hot dogs and bologna which I'm from the south, you eat fried bologna. Lol I'm letting the guilt go and do the best we can do. Thank you

Thank you so much for this video. You reassured me that I am eating the best I can for my body. From the beginning, I shop sales and buy the best I can afford and yes, sometimes that includes hotdogs. I lost 70 lbs in 6 months and after a year and a half I am off of all of my medication. I finally feel like my younger self did and have a brighter outlook on the future. Once again, thank you so much.

I agree with you 100 percent doctor. Its getting harder to find processed meats without the corn syrup. Bacon is still my number one meat to help me with my insulin resistance followed by ground beef and then butter. Thanks for the info

Thankyou for this Dr. Berry. A lot of people feel left out when confronted with going Carnivore. They need to be told that they can do this without buying $23.00 ribeyes. I eat hot dogs and spam with my eggs quite frequently. The eating plan is working slowly but surely.

Thank you, doctor. Oh boy, did I need to see this. My Dr wants me eating low carb to lower my A1c and I’m a senior on Social Security. One of my favorite meals is hot dogs with sauerkraut. Delicious and probiotic to boot.

@floridaguy4373 9 ай бұрын
Stick to the dogs and get rid of the sauerkraut. While it may serve as a probiotic, the toxins in sauerkraut may counteract the good it provides. True carnivore is meat only. My health improved dramatically when I got rid of all plants.

I'm down over 40 pounds and working out like I haven't been able to in over 10 years. I'm 62 now and daily carry out 70 push ups without a rest. I am back doing pullups, chinups and all kinds of things that for the past few years have been impossible. I also quit all alcohol, that probably helps too.@@Individualati

I am so glad that you made this video because there are times when I won’t be able to afford high quality meat. As long as your diet is at least 80% or more meat, it shouldn’t matter if it’s processed or not. You are making me feel good eating hot dogs and such. I rather eat hot dogs than an unnatural vegan diet any damn day. Thank you for focusing on reality for all of us.

Eat what your body needs in moderation. There is not one diet that isn’t trashed by someone else. If God put it on the earth and gave us teeth to eat it then eat it. The way it is made for consumption is probably more of the problem.

Just still at the beginning stages of learning about carnivore diet but I'm very intrigued. I have always thought I needed to enjoy a mixture of healthy lean meats, along with whole foods and whole grains. Low or no processed sugars. Only fruit, and not fruit juices, etc. This is definitely making me rethink my entire life, hearing about these amazing benefits. I have always harbored a fear of eating too much meat because of the saturated fat, getting high cholesterol, getting heart disease or something like that or high blood pressure. But it sounds like all of these concerns are totally unfounded? Btw I'm a new subscriber.

Very interesting. I'd also point out that in the UK tinned sardines and mackerel are exceptionally good value especially in the best shops like Lidl and Aldi. Also they don't have nitrites so provide good variety.

Thank You for your passion to bring to light that there is a better way to be / get healthy. I'm on SSI and have a part time job driving local that allowes me to listen to people like yourself any time I wish. I will be 71 this year. I just had my labs checked and my A1C went up .03 points to 06.5. I had been in the low teens 6 months ago. I have not eaten carbs, sugar, sweeteners or any processed food since I started Carnivore the 15th of February 23. Then, I went from 12.1 to 6.2. I also have gained 5 pounds but my waste is a bit smaller now. I love to eat BBB & E. I love eggs, fixed any style. I will join your tribe so I can partake in the live chat as soon as I get my car fixed. If you have the time, I have 3 questions for you, 1- Why would my A1C start to climb? I quit taking all Insulin 7 weeks ago. 2-What could cause my weight to go up? and, 3-How many eggs can I eat in a day? Thanks again four you passion and the time you give to your channel. PS, I started this new way of eating to get off as many meds as I can. I've gone from 30 down to 4. BAZAA !
