Thats a very Dutch thing to do. When we came back from the school trip we always lay under the bench so our parents would thing that we were gone (ofcourse they didn’t but the kids thought they did) amazing time

Jochem meijer is a great person. I have seen this show live, and the funny part is that my partners name is Harm. Jochem is been through hell and back, because of a tumor in his spine. He is better now and the operation to remove the tumor went well. A great person and comedian

Watched it, I love this piece. It's also very recognisable for me; I worked at a low-level middle school or whatever you call it over there. (VMBO here). I left there with a severe burn-out and am now disabled. But on a positive note: I am now a happy house father with a fantastic 3-year old son.

I always got sick on schooltrips. Not on the one day trips but at Highschool we had five days trips to London and Berlin. My teachers knew I most of the time got sick the third day, lol, so I think it was in their agenda. You first day this, second day that, third day Linda sick. Lol. And I mean sick! In London I was so sick panic broke out in the middle of the night. Funny thing is, I don't remember a thing. I woke up the next day, wondering where everybody went and why they didn't wake me up. I could hear them, they were having breakfast so I went down and everybody stopped talking and one of the teachers asked me 'uhm... hi.....are you okay?' I was surprised because I didn't know what THEY went through so I said 'yeah sure, why?' Later they told me what happened, somehow my temperature went down! I had under temperature and they almost took me to the hospital (it's dangerous). Two years later I had a similar thing in Berlin. Sick the third day, lol.

I'm in the USA and to keep the tradition of watching the Oudejaarsdag Conferentie I take one of my old DVDs and watch that. But after seeing the same vids of Bertje, Najib, Theo etc every year I wondered if it made sense to try a VPN and see if there's something "new" to check.

as a person who has eczema myself I can relate to her. unfortunately none the less I can laugh about this. but hopefully you didn't ment it when u said she isn't aloud on the school trip. that was kinda harsh for me to hear. I think he's funny, but i hope he never has to experience the torture of having severe itch like that pore girl all the time himself. It feels like a lot of ants running over your skin the whole time, day and night, every second of the day, years in a row. Eczema is one of the most underestimated diseases that exist in the sense of suffering. No one should make fun of this.

I really like your videos and your positivity! But I have to say that I don't appreciate your response to Loes and the eczema part… calling it disgusting and saying she had to get out, is really body shaming someone with a medical condition and adding to the stigma. People with eczema are already so self-conscious about it and some people isolate themselves because of the shame. They are being called out and people want them to stay away because they are afraid they will "catch" it, although it is not contagious. Apart from that, it can be very painful and the itchiness can drive you crazy and cause extreme insomnia. Just something to think about before you publicly throw shade on a conditions that effects millions if not billions of people (even if it's just a fictional comedian character, the impact of your words can be real).
