*Dust to Dust* *Dust to Dust* is the prologue song on DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ concept album (aka QOTMS)... it is inviting you in to hear the deep, dark, and foreboding story of a young woman apparently in love with someone that doesn't even know she exists... it is a story about how well things can appear to be going and how fast it can all fall apart... it follows her battles between good and evil over her soul... the Spanish speaking part is their manager, Rudy, playing the part of a preacher at the funeral... translated to English, this is what he says... Brother! Salvation is something that is earned! Let go of your hand of resentment and Wake up to a new light within you Although your brothers try Plunge into the darkness DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ is one of those concept albums best experienced by listening to it from beginning to end in order... listening to each of the songs piecemeal and out of order is like trying to figure out a movie by catching a portion near the end, one from near the beginning, and one near the middle... yeah, it won't work out very well... their performance of it at Lunario was the first time the album was presented in full to the public... it had been released over time in chapters of three songs each and the last three songs were presented here to complete the album... i like Lunario because it was the first public performance, the animations on the big screen behind Pau, and the girls were in character... others prefer their presentation of QOTMS at another venue for various reasons... as a concept album, many of us members of TWA can easily see QOTMS as a movie or Broadway stage performance... it is that good and to think it was written by them at a very young age and released as their 2nd album! i mean... whoa! who does that?? 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

Apparently, Pau has spent several years now singing whilst running, either outdoors, or on a treadmill depending on weather and opportunity. Give it a try some time. 😉 And, btw, the backtrack of the male voice is a recording of their manager Rudy. In a much earlier live performance, he actually shows up on stage to add his bit, but over the past several years they've used this recording of him.

I know you guy from Ren, trust me this rabbit hole deserve the same look. They are incredible and so down to earth as well. Beautyfull human, generous with their fan, humble and kind, no diva sh*t, just pure talent and fun and meaniingfull lyric too. Look at their discography and they are in since more then 10 years now, yes they started as kid. Great to see you back with The Warning so quickly. Yeah, hella noise coming from only three people. They are so good at using their voices almost like a fourth instrument on stage (as you said, imagine their harmonies being played on a keyboard). Live really is their magic sauce. The Warning have a sound that is both new and familiar. It is certainly hard rock, but clearly influenced by their love of classic rock, metal, punk, K-pop, indie, grunge, funk, and many other genres including classical music. But they have taken those influences and forged a sound that is uniquely their own, and you know that it is them. At the same time simple and complex. What does it sound like to me? Refreshing. A sound that has caught my ear and made me interested in rock again after 25+ years of the same old playlist. While together their combined ages are about the same as mine, their musical maturity is exceptionally high. Need another suggestion? Shock and awe, right? This concert has 22 songs performed with serious energy at 7300 feet above sea level in Mexico City. Pure genius-level writing, composition, and execution came from teenagers when the album this is from was produced. This is a next level performance of that old song. *Queen of the Murder Scene* is an awesome production. *Keep Me Fed* drops on June 28. I just pre-ordered it.

In a music composition masterclass Paulina gave, she addressed how frustrating and difficult it was at the beginning to coordinate singing while drumming, off course she was 6 y.o. haha. Her drum teacher encouraged her to sing since she started, that is why she developed the skill and now it seems so effortless

Pretty much any song from this Teatro Metropolitan concert is worth checking out, but especially 'Disciple' and 'Enter Sandman'. Their two performances from the MTV VMAs shows are great too. They've also just released 3 new songs this month that are absolute bangers. They're touring the UK in April, I only discovered them in November and within a couple hours of learning about their existence I'd bought tickets to their Manchester gig 🤘

Pau is a firecracker and she does a lot behind those drums, if you want to see her as frontwoman take a look at "Narcisista" from this concert and if you want to hear her sing ballads i recommend "23" and "Revenant" also from the Metropolitan. Sometimes she stands up and dances while she is drumming, there is a short second of that in this song. She has so much energy and is a one woman show, they all have their contribution to the experience called The Warning! Good reaction.

To be fair, they do use some backing tracks when playing live (they're triggered by Pau, as if she doesn't have enough to do between drumming and singing). It's mostly just some keyboards and a few few guitar bits here and there.

There is a concert footage of them somewhere about 2015 and life for their school comrades. Ale was just ten yrs old, PAU was 12, and Dani turned 15. Ale made Muse bass guitarist ashamed in the song “ hysteria “ what they played on that concert. They played almost all cover songs from famous bands and just a few originals. Imagine 10, 13, and 15 yrs old girls rocked the hell out of the audience. Finally I could remember the name of the place, it’s called the “ Liceum or other name Red Bull theater “ if you can find it, your mind will be blown.

Check out the entire 2017 TedX performance (about 25 minutes). 3 songs with some very inspirational talks by all three of them between songs. It was before Pau got a few lessons and learned how to control her body. She was an absolute maniac on the drums in them days and still managed to sing her heart out. Great review guys! Drummers that sing lead are rare, the only other one that I know of that is semi-active right now is Hana from Gacharic Spin; starting in 2009 she was the drummer for 10 years and the lead vocalist for 7 of those, in 2019 Hana switch from drums to guitar (highly skilled multi instrumentalist), she still sings lead to this day. She has been back on the drums a few times (the new drummer, Yuri, was off on maternity leave, as well as special occasions live). You can see her sing and drum in the video for Mindset (the music video not the live videos).

I tried to make a list of drummers that could sing while drumming. I came up with about 25 drummers in rock history, so Pau joins a unique group of singing drummers. BTW, Pau is the main lyricist for the band. They do not have any bad songs.
