14:49 I've been watching your videos for a wee while now and all I can say to you Matt is that I wish every used car sales business put as much care and effort into sorting their cars before they sell them as you do Matt.... I've looked at countless cars over the years since I started driving in Feb 1977 and there's not a garage I've visited that refurbishes alloys, sorts out paint blemishes or would even think of changing the plates... The plates normally get a new name sticker stuck over the original and that's it ..... Please don't change how you do business as you're a breath of fresh air in the world of second hand car sales and I wish you all the best for 2025 and beyond

Glad to see an Audi A8 at the top. I loved one feature on an A8 - I do not know if they still have it. The headlamps were linked to the satnav so that the light pattern changed when you crossed from England to France. I did a tour of the Audi factory in Ingolstadt in 2013 and our guide told us about one A8 which they customised for one wealthy and doting dad. It was a gift for his daughter and had pink paint and pink leather. At least no one was likely to steal it.

I've had a mk3 mondeo 2.0 TDDI ghia x estate for 12 years i bought it as a stop gap car and all i did was abuse it and it took it and kept going i fell in love with it, in 12 years its only let me down once when the battery failed, its now on 180k and has just come off the road due to the rear crossmember rusting through, they are unique to the car so are expensive and hard to find, but the car has looked after me so im going to get it sorted and back on the road.

Congrats o.n a great year for the channel. Sure, every purchase didn't work out as hoped - but this oftentimes results in great viewing! Maybe consider some viewer polls in 2025? A couple of examples: Next car 'series.' Stick with Nissan, go back further in years, but step up the performance: 300ZX. Or, 'what type of cars would you like to see featured.' 1. Petrol. 2. Hybrid. 3. Diesel. 4. EV.. Thanks for all the content

Sunday 5th Jan 2025 I watched this vid this morning and sent it to my daughter who lives in Bermuda. By pure coincidence she was out for a run today and has just seen the Z3 driving along by Tobacco Bay. Sunday's are the day Bermudians are allowed to drive their classic cars. So, the Z3 is alive and well!

Hi Matt - I have followed your channel forever!! I have retired to Spain (Mallorca) and am about to do a U turn with regard to cars. I have two dogs and a run to the airport is a long journey - so I have started looking very closely at your smaller car - and higher mpg reviews. I am not convinced about electric. I want a/c, automatic and room for two Brittany dogs so goodbye to the big bruiser cruisers of yesterday and hello to budget reliability. So please keep the reviews going. I bought a 2010 audi A8 3.0 diesel after watching your review! LOVE IT, btw you are correct about the car sitting at ridiculous speeds on the motorway without even realising. Love the channel, keep up the great work and all the best for 2025. p.s I would go to Bermuda to see if a postcard had arrived, forget a car! Love the place since visiting whilst in the navy.

Had a 2008 CLS 320 bought at two years old 14k. Both front coil springs eventually snapped within months of each other. Both front window regulators replaced. Good thing I decided to buy the MB extended warranty. It ate tyres very quickly (not driven crazily) & I only ever had well known brands fitted. MB checked alignment/geometry a few times and all was correct. Some owners would fit narrower wheels and tyres to save money I think come replacement time. Loved the car. Had it five years until a errrm…. rear ended me & wrote it off. Then drove a later model 320 for a while, also excellent. Always liked the look of the X218 estate (shooting brake) version & occasionally see them now, always look very well cared for.

Totally agree with your concerns over the 'control screen' in the middle of EV dashes. How can that be safe having to take your eyes off the road to change the heater blower!

Faffing with your phone while driving is a crime quite rightly but it is fine if you faff with a touchscreen put there by the car manufacturers. It is vested interests again. The manufacturers put screens into cars to cut costs and now the regulators don't dare react.

Just sold my MK6 Golf (2011) with 100+k miles on the clock to the first person to look at it for £2,800.00....proof they are good cars if looked after , sadly there's plenty out there that can't afford to run a car and the reason these sheds exist. So glad the S class appeared - been contemplating one for a while; Cornwall to Scotland on a very regular basis justifies such a car. Too old to be doing 1000+ miles in one weekend in a Ford Focus.

The previous era of volvo engineering was superb but requires specific maintenance plus parts could be expensive.. otherwise fairly nice. VAG.. seems like most normal VW and Audi models just aren't looked after very well.. sort of "German cars are supposed to be good so I'll get one of those/ want something better than a Mondeo" crowd who otherwise don't have much interest in cars.. personally, I also think their engineering is meger in some areas.

I am so happy to see the Mondeo in the list, people love to shit on Ford because of their modern cars, but realistically old Fords are gold and you can't deny that fact, that's coming from a person that loves Toyota's by the way, Ford is the perfect example of why you shouldn't advance in time because that stained their legacy sadly, for example in our workplace we have a 2011 Ford Transit and it's literally bulletproof the only thing that was wrong with it and it wasn't road legal was the rust, but that ended up getting fixed and it's back on the road, while our 2017 Ford Transit got written off because the catalytic converter failed on it, and so did the DPF filter, this comes to show that not all modern cars are as good as they market them.

The late 90s and early 00s Fords were great. Drove really well and reliable too. Rust being the only real issue. Of all the cars I've owned the only 2 to have zero faults were the mark one focus 1.6 and the mark 2 focus 1.8. Whilst most cars have been reliable they usually have 1 or 2 minor issues in ownership Those Fords had none.

All the very best Matt. Looking forward to your vids in this brand new year! Would love to see you describe the worst car you've ever owned! Mine was a Renault 11 which was abysmal in every way. Awful to drive, ugly, uneconomical (when it worked) and it's cheap and nasty interior was the colour of baby diarrhea! it blew a radiator hose on the way back from the cinema and what should have been a 20 minute drive took a couple of hours as we had to stop to as for water...a lot. Shortly afterwards the head gasket blew and I was delighted to sell it for scrap for £50.
