@@ThePatchworkMonster I think the problem is that she's to smart for her own good. If I remember correctly shes rather young? And because she lacks experience she thinks she can think a way out of everything. If she would formulate her douts better or her companion's wold ask follow up questions and would not let her answer in a stream of panic and high speed thought. It would be a lot easier to get through to her. Since she's very smart using it to confuse the others and dodge questions. Al and all some very good roleplaying. And so cringy but that's a personal thing.

my theory on eterna and guardians: guardians are an attempt at artificial eterna and are energy beings like they are but are imperfect so they slowly die and lack the free application of their energy that eterna have.

The aeterna seem to be mostly under the control of the Starbane Empire. Also they are apparently beings of pure energy. So there are definitely factors against that being the case. That being said however I do find the idea intriguing. And it would certainly explain some of the things that Sentry has experienced. Or how Starbane knew how to ressurect a Guardian. Someone would have to gotten a hold of an aeterna during the war. Or the Prime that keeps being referred to could end up being one of the triumvirate. Thanks for inspiring that idea.

It's a slippery slope. Feeding on life force is at least implied to give the subject a taste for it. I don't think anything is set in stone but it really depends on what Mark decided about in and wrote in his notes. The fact that SilverEdge's energy was offered to Sentry or Nova when he expired though really makes me feel like it's a bad idea And that Mark was offering it up as a kind of trap. Negative consequences often make for interesting narratives.

If there are any problems with it I think they have more to do with Mark putting surprise marriage on a consequence table without discussing it with the group beforehand. I know that he said he would've discussed it with a number of people before going through with it but it just would've been better to do before he added it as a possibility at all. It happened to Trott who was willing to role with it so no harm no foul. However I can't help feeling that it's bad practice.

Actually she can, the way the ability is worded is “Your aura has an effect that activates when you enter your rage, and you can activate the effect again on each of your turns as a bonus action.” She actually clarified it with Mark a few episodes ago.
