Achimota School has the blueprint. Giving back to the school is a culture that is deeply a part of the school's annual calendar. While as students, we see the alumni visit the school to join in various special events so once we leave the school, we already know the drill and feel obliged and privileged to give back to the school.

The important thing is to organize an association globally with regional branches and this should not just be on paper. The old students should be aware that such an association exit. You should also have year groups within the association and you can even have fundraising competitions among the year groups.

Top schools have got this already and even more. Other schools can learn to improve theirs. HSA can be invited to some functions of the best old students associations to educate those who want to learn from the best.

Wow..great insight. Did not see St Roses in there but hopefully another time. Shout out to all Old students Alumni for the work and support we give to our Alma Mater. Great job for putting this together. Can't wait to see the Head perfect conference. Head teachers conference would also be great to see what they are doing to maintain the structural projects as well as maintining events like careers days etc so that current students benefit.

Great topic but I believe the alumni would be the best audience . As an alumni of Ahantaman Girls , most of my male mates have vowed not to go to the school since it was transformed into a girls school so that can also be a factor and many others … btw you doing a striking job , keep it up HSA
