Jim Cornette dedicated a podcast to Eaton and offered some great stories about Bobby's life. Worth a listen. You can tell Corny was a true friend and he is shattered by the news.

The beginning and end of that podcast was a very tough listen. It seems when he was telling stories, he was alright; but the beginning and end....man, you can just hear it in his voice. Cornette lost a part of himself when he lost “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton. I’m so glad I was fortunate enough to see this man wrestle and I only wish I could have known or met him. From all accounts, Bobby Eaton was a greater man than performer. You’re right about Jim Cornette...”shattered” is exactly the way to describe it.

Hope I don’t sound too religious-if I do I apologize, but Bobby exemplified the love of Christ. He probably didn’t go to church…idk…I don’t all that much. But he showed love after you hear everything he said in this interview, what others have said-especially Jim Cornett’s story about Bobby giving a homeless guy a full bag of groceries and even some drinks 🍺;) and a cigar (Cornette: Bobby, you realize you probably got him killed? XD) I can picture Bobby putting the cigar in the man’s mouth, hugging him, and wishing him well. I mean damn, Bobby fed the poor. What more proof do you need? You’re correct. Bobby not only leaves behind a wrestling career drowning in championship gold but-maybe even unbeknownst to him-a life others can look up to.
@GEricG2 жыл бұрын
@@83thechaz I'm not religious but for me, it's people like Bobby who give you faith in humanity so if people have religious faith that's great but regardless, if we can all treat each other with a bit of kindness (for me, based on the principle of treating others in the way that you'd like to be treated yourself) then religious or not, it'll be a better world.
