Mike, i don't think their is anything as beautiful as the country you drive thru here in Australia. there are incredible places, but the mountains you drive thru are absolutely beautiful. I love your videos and really look forward to them, in fact I finish watching the last one and wonder how long i have to wait for the next. Please Mike keep them coming, I don't get a chance to drive very much these days and your videos keep me going

I love historical buildings and home's. My house was built in 1867. Started out being maybe 300 sq ft. Now its around 1300 sq ft. You bring back some good memories of being on the road. I was raised in a BIG 🚚 during the outlaw trucking era. Those were the days. I couldn't imagine the B.S. you have to deal with these days. Keep up the awesome job 👏.... for all the haters hating they should get rid of anything they own. Since they hate truckers not knowing that you and other truckers are the reason they have possessions.

I’m always in the area climbing 14ers. The two highest peaks are shown in this video. The sawatch mountain range is beautiful, but my favorite in CO is the San Juan mountain range. If you ever have the opportunity to drive the San Juan Skyway, you won’t be disappointed.

If a picture is worth 10,000 words, then your videos are worth billions...just fantastically beautiful and interesting! Also I just wanted to pass some info along...I started using Rain-X on my windshield and in my sprayer as I travel back and forth from Miami to Orlando. There are thousands of these Love Bugs, and they literally obliterate your view; but since I started using this product it seems to evaporate them once the wiper get turned on. Just thought it might help.

Enjoy that you give 'historic' information about the towns and areas you drive through. Question about another matter...... do you have to make any engine adjustments to your truck because of the extreme elevation differences of the areas you drive through? Way back in the middle 1960s, my wife and I, from just a little above sea level, Santa Cruz, CA., drove through Colorado and over the Continental Divide in our new car. I swear our car was gasping for air. We were being passed by everyone. An especially humorous moment was when we were passed by a VW Bug....PULLING A SMALL TARP COVERED 4' x 6'TRAILER! Our mechanic told us later that we should have had the care re-tuned for "high elevation" driving.
@edwardjones96314 жыл бұрын
Tom Marshall....Not any more. For the younger folks, that was really true back then. The west has many long, steep highways @ 6 % grade slope, some for more than 10 miles & a few for 30 miles or more. Summertime temps are well over 100°F & in lower elevations of desert areas of sw USA the temps in daytime may exceed 110°F! Those old days of ice bags hanging on outside of grill-fronts are now past! Answer to your question is that with 3°F loss per 1000 ft elevation the thin air will moderate elevation effects & sufficient oxygen is present to combust! Having watched his videos MMM does not have to make elevation adjustments, & I have also traversed these areas in cars with worry-free driving!

Loved that view of turning south out of Leadville and having Mt Elbert and Mt Massive come into view!! Wife and I just drove that route on our Honda Goldwing In May 2021. Spent the night at the columbine Inn at Leadville not even knowing the town is at 10000 ft elevation! I like your videos because I can revisit all the roads we traveled on our Grand bike trip from Seattle to West Palm Beach Florida (home). We took route 90 out of Washington after going up Mt Rainier, through Idaho, Montana, down towards Ennis, into Yellowstone, Grand Tetons to Jackson,back up to Moran,through the wind River range, then Riverton to Cheyenne into Fort Collins, over to Boulder, Estes Park, Down to 70, pass Veil, Down 24, On to 160 over to Durango, up to Silverton, Ouray,Telluride, Montrose, Delta, route 92 to Gunnison 50 east back to Colorado Springs, intercepted 70 At the Kansas Border at Burlington,Co. Then the Beat east toward home. Put almost 6,000 miles on the bike One way from Washington. (oh, and I caught a 17" Rainbow out of the pond at Ridgeway State Park)My best yet..Happy, Happy!!
