Thanks for another great video with real panoramic scenic views. I followed your journey on a Rand McNally atlas. I enjoy seeing those small towns like Salida. I only fond your channel a few days ago and have kept up with the latest ones , when I've watched them I go to earlier posts, they are all equally enjoyable. If you get the time It would be nice to have a guided tour around your cab so we can see you where you operate from your camera set up and the CB gear etc etc. Thanks again and safe driving.

You are looking at Mt. Princeton coming down to Johnson Village in the beginning and the Collegiate Peaks (Mt. Columbia, Oxford etc) to the right starting 3:16 or so. All 14,000 ft peaks!

After the running of the street light (just past my former home and Jackson Hotel on right)) ......that stream to your left going up Poncha Pass.....Poncha Creek is the best fishing......that is where I grew up! O'Haver (hay ver) Lake is the prettiest campground in Colorado...at the foot of Mt. Ouray.... .in my opinion....Im enjoying your videos....keeps me in touch .....safe travels!

It's the Arkansas River. All the way from the headwaters up above Leadville, down the canyon past Salida and Pueblo. The Animas River is the river running from Silverton, Co, through Durango, Co, into northern New Mexico, where it tributaries into the San Juan River at Farmington, N.M.

Drive that way from denver to westcliffe home by way of 285 several times a month unless im comin from breckenridge to fairplay then home by 285 to salida or buena vista if i hav some work to do there or hwy 9 closer to the cut off to my house off of hwy 50. And arrowhead water is bottled in buena vista out of the arkansas river. One the last times thru johnson village watched a guy being arrested at the little motel on the right. He was in a gun stand off with cops. About 8 cop cars there. Barely got thru headed to buena vista. Its fun watching you go thru so many of the areas i travel thru pretty much weekly and knowing exactly where you are!!!!!!

Riding Shotgun You’re welcome. I live in Cascade , CO and I haven’t been able to get out and travel to some of the cool little tourist towns like Buena Vista, Salida and Taos. Hoping to start seeing more this next year. I love the scenery and hearing you talk about your travels. It’s relaxing to me. Safe travels !

Maybe take a cotton ball and tape it over the little speaker that beeps at you. Doesn’t bother me but I’m sure it would get on your nerves having to listen to it all day. Easy drivin brother.

Doesn't Dept. Of Forestry let fires burn for a long time to clear the forests out (as long as there isn't any buildings in the way). This is the first summer for the last 2 years that we didn't have smoke. We finished our woodshed & put 1 cord of walnut wood stacked in there and left room for 2 cheap plastic chairs to watch tv from. The tv will go on the top layer where we placed rounds. 1 for tv and 1 for snacks and 1 for our cats. Today my husband & friend went out fishing in the delta (Grizzly Island) but only had 3 bites. They usually get striped bass & I even caught a Sturgeon (1 inch to short). We will be taking our boat out soon to Lake Berryessa to get Kokanee Salmon or whatever else (catfish, trout??). Today I uninstalled Twitter again as they censored President Trump. Now I have more time to watch your snowy drives.
