Jenny was Judy Carmen, formerly Judy Greenburg, who I grew up with since 6th grade in Englewood, Colorado. I had no idea she had passed away. Such a sweet friend. She and I went to our first R rated movie together - a Star is Born - when a very cool couple snuck us in when we were 15. She had a beautiful singing voice and loved theater at our high school, Cherry Creek. I went to her bat mitzvah and remember it well. Rest in Peace, Judy.

Even though I'm 60, I just watched this episode for the first time. And I was a male version of of Jenny here when I was about 10-12. There was a gang of guys on my block a year ahead of me in school who made me afraid to go out-- much less afraid of being beaten up by any of them as hearing their hate-filled threats and knowing I was an excuse for their acting bigshots with each other. I'm not sure we ever really recover from that kind of situation. And I despise myself for never getting the revenge I thought I was due. I was a fat kid, but after getting into jr. high sports for a year, I was no longer. And I had a boxing match with a guy bigger than I was and I knocked him down 3 times before the coaches called it off. Evidently that became widely known, and I heard the ringleader of those guys who made my life miserable was asked about fighting me, and he said "I wouldn't bet on it." Since that situation was no more, maybe I eased off just glad it was over. But for too many years of having a low opinion of myself-- which is why I think I never was able to get a position in my degree field-- I have harbored violent thoughts toward them, and even now would relish the chance to slug them, or worse.

Forgiveness is a very powerful thing in life. Many times we forgive others in our hearts and it actually frees us of past hurts. As long as you are still carrying that hatred and resentment in your heart those bullies still control you. Let it go! Pray for God to help you release those demons from your past. Youve carried them far too long. Life is too short and im sure this burden of unforgiveness you still carry has gotten very heavy. Gods blessings to you. 🙏

This is my favorite episode of Highway To Heaven. There is always a jock superstar basketball, baseball, or football player who is flunking and who need a studious student who is not popular to help them get a good grade a course(s). They become the unlikeliest of friends. The studious student want to be popular and accepted only to be "played for a fool." The jock saw the studious student as a friend and while he saw his friend being clowned at a slumber party of girls he was the only one who stood up for his friend. Once Jenny learned to accept herself and not care what others thought about herself, she learned that the baseball player she helped in math class accepted her and liked Jenny just the way she is. "That's what true friends are about!" 😂✨

I wish all small towns or cities can see this and learn from it. So sad even after they leave school the same lil groups r the same to everyone. Even still they never learned much after there own kids have graduated from school. There still got there noises stuck up in the air. To sad and hope they never made there kids learned to be like that.

Went to my 50th high school reunion last year (yes, I'm that old), and I can tell you that the class "b!tch" was still the same 50 years later.

@@cherylthorpe4087 I’m sorry to hear that !! you’d think that in time people would grow up start loving themselves..!! In some ways Iam grateful to have dropped out of high school and got my GED- in order to avoid getting beat up because of jealous- mean- girls ..😇

Parents should do that more nowadays..want to be a man, can't live at home. You pay your own rent, cook, clean...be independent. Also, people who are not happy with their weight should stop pretending they are (body acceptance movement), and as Jonathan said, "Do something about it." All those lessons from back then should be revisited now.

Ryan C Hence, the morals of the era need to be revisited. Most people don't have those morals anymore, and it is hurting our society.
