Thank you all in law enforcement for everything you do for humanity as a whole. If the people and the public knew the truth and see the truth that you do they would not be wanting to defund the police ever again. If there are any police officers or others in law enforcement out there who doubt why they are doing what they are doing, just know that Heaven itself is meant for people like all of you. Hero is a word that does not describe what you all do and just remember that God is watching and crying with happiness and joy for you all especially those on the front lines. Not many know of the battle you all face but trust that God knows and you all should be proud of who you are and what you have done for others. Heaven knows and is watching. Stay strong and keep fighting. God bless you all.

How they do determines if they get their wings. I watched every episode of this. Jonathan screws up quite a bit. He ALMOST got "fired" permanently by disobeying God. Mark spoke up for him. He also denounced God when his wife died. Jonathan is still very much human. It sucks we never got a true series finale. WIKIPEDIA Jonathan Smith, formerly a man who lived on earth named Arthur Thompson, is now a "probationary" angel sent to Earth to help people in need. In the course of an "assignment", he meets Mark Gordon, an embittered retired policeman now bouncing from job to job. At first distrustful of Jonathan, Mark helps him complete his assignment and soon comes to realize his true nature, and is then given a job by "The Boss" (i.e. God): to assist Jonathan in helping troubled people on Earth. Jonathan and Mark are given assignments where they help various troubled souls overcome their problems.

Michael Landon was interviewed once and said coming off the highly successful Bonanza he was offered a multitude of "cop" characters to play in his next series but he didn't see himself as a cop. Now that I think about it, he NEVER played a cop ever and this episode makes me realize he wasn't right for that role. He just doesn't look "right" in a uniform. I felt compassion for the family of the victim. I feel for the parents the most because they did right by their son, but it was not enough. I also have compassion for the cop because he had to live with the guilt of taking the life of someone's life. He did not kill that kid because he was racist or full of hate unlike the cop in the Back to Oakland episode in season 4. This cop shot the kid in order to stay alive. However, the cop had trouble dealing with what he did which why he snapped. The scene with his family the kitchen was almost eerie. I liked that the cop apologized to the father.
