That view up on the hill makes me proud to be from Minnesota. We go from cornfields/wind towers to cities back to fields and then Hwy 61/Duluth to Boundary Waters. Truly a state blessed at the hand of God. I'm glad to be part of it! Great Vid!

5 Stars! Awesome video, great editing, music & production! I am surprised at how interesting I-35 was through there, never gave that town much thought, wow, that was very cool!

Good, fun video! I love the view going down the hill right before Duluth proper. I am absolutely stunned at the beauty of Lake Superior and everything north on 61 to Canada. I want to retire and build my own private heaven deep on the Gunflint Trail somewhere and wake up to coffee with the moose and bears.:)

I love this video! I used to live in Duluth, and it was always great coming into Duluth from I-35. You also hit up the awesome view from U.S. 53, which is a great new highway project they completed. Great video!

That rapid succession of tunnels as I-35 North comes to a close reminds me of the East River Drive in Manhattan; much of that road tunnels under apartments, offices, hospitals, and even the UN.

Very nice! I love how you slow down so we can see the view!

Crazy. I just got back from Duluth yesterday. And guess what footage I took while driving. 35 and 53. I'll have to put my footage together and see how it compares. I've been driving around Duluth for the past few days, I'm gonna have to look to see if I can find my car in your vid. Great job again!

Somehow they should try to extend I-35 northeast along the lake. The big challenge is the 4 mile stretch through the east end of Duluth, then it is just a matter of upgrading an expressway section up to Two Harbors.

Great video, one of the best! :) Duluth looks nice, almost Scandinavian surrounds, and great view from US 53. Lots of repaired pavement on I-35 though, I guess that's a bumpy ride. The cut&covers on I-35 look good though.

To be honest, I'm really quite surprised of how modern an interesting of a freeway I-35 is through Duluth! I wonder how much the state of Minnesota ponied up to build this freeway?

@itsalleternal They wanted to...the real estate was just too expensive there....4 miles of mansions...kind of hard for the DOT to buy those out. Look at that one mansion that Walgreens bought out over on 15th and Superior. It was worth like $250k, but they paid $800k for it.

But don't generalize. Not every highway in the States is in bad condition. A lot of states have excellent transportation infrastructure.
