It's been a while since I've used PUMBI, so I'm unfamiliar with this error... Make sure the drivers and required files are installed and you have a user account setup online. For custom step charts, make sure the .UCS file is saved to the root of your USB Hope this helps :)

Luckily, PUMBI is still on the official PIU website. So there is no need for the FIESTA 2 website.

one big question out of the 120 songs does it onlu include the songs found on fiesta 2 or can I come back and create custom steps for older versions of the game. Like ring ding dong. A classic fiesta EX song that didnt make it to fiesta 2.

Sometimes I plug in the USB into a game machine and see my game name and level loaded, only upon the selection screen, it's not there, as if the USB was never recognized to start with. All my game data are still there on the first stage, but by the next stage, all of a sudden I'm playing the game without Pumbi. I'm not sure if it's my USB or the USB port of the game machine. I would share this problem on the forums in the official site, but it looks totally abandoned judging by the little to no views.

ValiantSkyRider720 We're sorry to hear about your difficulties, we've never experienced such a problem ourselves. Since we have little knowledge of your problem, or of the machines hardware, our only suggestion is to try a different USB or a different machine/USB port, to try and isolate if it is the machine or your USB. Sorry we couldn't offer more assistance, and 1e wish you luck in resolving the issue!

Highway Entertainment My USB does work on some machines, but on certain ones other peoples' USBs work but mine doesn't.

so when I plugged my USB in my computer it said the whole message of a file was not found ... what do i do after that point? .... and it's still new. Oh and also, do I copy the pumbi file on the usb also?

also do you know specifically which USB's will work? as i went today my USB i tried to use didn't correctly fit in the machine and so it didn't work at all. i was going to buy the PIU usb but you can only buy those in bulk apparently. thanks!

aikurueye Thank's for the wonderful feedback - it makes the time spent making the video totally worth it! We're sad to hear that your USB didn't work. There's no list on what USBs are compatible or not with the machine, but we used a Sony, Emtec and Toshiba USB in the machine just fine. Hope this helps!

Popcornio We haven't had a thorough test of PIU Prime, from what we know there is a USB mode, and your stats (besides your level, all players start Prime at level 1) can be transferred from Fiesta 2 to Prime. Popcornio The setup process is slightly different and Pumbi is now integrated with piugame.com. When you play a game on Prime (even with the transfer process from Fiesta 2), your stats are automatically uploaded to piugame.com, provided your machine is connected to the internet

Baddles Nguyễn We're not sure what the problem could be, can you tell us any more information? We don't have a Pump It Up machine in our workshop any more either, so it's hard for us to help.... +Highway Entertainment when you try to login into PUMBI, it will not bring to the interface, but opens a chat box and it says the above message. Try to login using your computer and see if it works.

Daniel Parra Unfortunately not :( - you can only use certain songs from the piugame website - however the User Custom Step (UCS) link for these songs has been deactivate on the site - as they prepare it for the PIU Prime UCS songs

Diane Almuenda Yes that is totally fine to use a non-official USB, however unfortunately some USBs are incompatible. We used an Emtec, a Sony and a Toshiba USB just fine though!

Between PIU NX2 to PIU NXA, you had to use Pump It Up Official USB, otherwise it didn't reconize other USB. But, after the PIU FIESTA 2010, you could use any USB to create an user profile.

What does the ID delete feature actually do? PIU is freakin terrible at explaining stuff. What does the countdown mean? (it says I can only do it up to 10 times-which I assume is just renaming the ID) Why is the ID (which is apparently deleted) merely locked from some sorta admin. Plus the play data is still there because the BIN files are still on the USB. So what exactly was deleted and how would I go about using up the other 9 times I can create an ID? I cant seem to do it with the same USB data thats been locked. Plus does PIU only take letters from the latin alphabet? I tried to use the kanji for 6 which is 六. But it didn't add it. After the first word. Its a korean game. it must take foreign letters right?

Ceres Bane We also had difficulty understanding these points! As far as we can tell, the countdown is how many times you can delete and start a new account with a specific USB. The ID cannot be used again as PUMBI stores the play data in a PIU database and displays it on the ranking pages on the PIU website. For one reason or another the developers do not allow you to simply 'rename' your id (if you know any theory on databases this may be due to a thing called a 'primary key' which is a unique identifier for a row of data in a database table), and so if you delete your id then that effectively deactivates that ID and the play data from being used. As far as we know, deleting the ID is simply a way of releasing the USB for use with a new ID. For the last question we are not sure, but by having a quick look through the ranking data on the PIU site (www.piugame.com/ranking/fiesta_global.html?page=3&run_type=fiesta2&rank_type=ex), all the player IDs are spelled with letters from the Latin alphabet, so unfortunately you may not be able to use kanji. Hope this all helps!
