I've been watching all these Australian crime docs and I must say I have never come across a country that has 10 gang bosses who Weare all THE worst, yet amazingly they all ruled everything all at the same time....

One thing made very clear is that Australia had the worst boys homes in history. A lot of the worst prolific criminals were abused in those homes. It's very sad.

I attended sporting competitions on the grounds of Mt Penang in the 80’s. I remember vomiting within 5 mins, every time we competed there. Every time. There was something very, very wrong with the energy at that place. It was scary….

One question for all the psychologists is virtually all the crims went through these horrific 'boys homes' yet none of them took revenge on their abusers.

Check out the 1996 American movie "Sleepers". It's set in NYC and tells the story of 2 gangsters who murder a guard from the reform school they where they were confined as kids, a guard who raped them both many times. It's exactly the plot that you suggested. I'm certain that it must have happened more than once in real life.

These psychologists all discuss how Freeman's impoverished life caused him to turn to Crime, but only incidentally. The Truth is that Society is more responsible for the production of Criminals than the traits of any individual Criminal himself. Here in America, it's always been quite obvious that Poverty Breeds Crime. It's simply a fact. In my 73 years as an American, the "bad part" of every American city has been the most economically depressed part of town too. When you don't get an Equal Opportunity, then you're going to create your own "opportunities", often outside the Law. Wouldn't it be better to Prevent Crime in the first place by doing something about the Gross Income Inequality that drives the people at the bottom to resort to desperate means ? Here in America, I can guarantee you that if EVERY American were to get a Permanent Full Time Job at a Livable Wage, then Crimes of all types would drastically subside virtually overnight. I'm confident of the same results in any Capitalist Society.

@skitch9
@skitch9 Жыл бұрын
It is an acronym for starting price. It's a term horse racing bookies use. It's the starting price of the horse.
@edward9643
@edward9643 Жыл бұрын
Where does it stand? Well someone who owed him money gave him a hot tip about a horse race - remember the Fine Cotton ring In? Fine Cotton wasn't really that horse- another much better horse had been substituted. So Mr Freeman tipped off the stewards and the caper was discovered- because good ol George had placed a huge bet on the horse that came second but became the winner after Fine Cotton was disqualified. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful

Starting Price Bookmaker. Basically an unlicensed, illegal bookmaker who accepts bets on horse races with the winnings paid at the starting odds when the race starts (the SP Bookmakers determine those starting odds by referencing the locked starting odds quoted by the legal betting agency TAB, once betting for a race is closed). Good for washing dirty money as punters don't require any ID to place bets. Not so good (or maybe good if you are in on it) if a fix is on and the odds on a horse change drastically between when you laid down the bet and when the race starts. Also not so good if you can't pay the bookmaker for any losses as some tend to use stand over tactics to get their money. These days you have to provide identifying information to have a TAB (totalisator agency board) legal horse racing betting account in Australia. That means the authorities have the capability of tracking what money you deposit to the account for gambling. They can also freeze the account if they feel that the money in the account is from the proceeds of crime. So people who want to avoid that use an SP Bookmaker.

Yeah that was the last Of the old timers. And now people who are seriously in the criminal world will always do something that no one expects. And they're rules was in the same as a judge would give a jail sentence. But you loose your life over stupid decisions. You play games with the wrong person and G Fremann and Leni were not to be messed with. And everyone new it. These days are different from then.? Now I just don't know what you can do, Because trust is the best issue. Now police department have high technology to use agianst criminals
