I absolutely love that 2 resignations were announced during the filming. Perfect!

Will you stop it about legends. A legend is something that probably isn't true.

I am obsessed with Jon Snow. Gorgeous, witty, self deprecating. Best fun is his dancing to tunes.

Absolute Legend Jon Snow. How can a news presenter be this funny? But then again, how many are Jon Snow, eh?

Great show about a pathetic institution - politicians...get rid of the wankers...they achieve nothing for large sums of public money...We just DON'T NEED THEM

There were a bunch of dudes with slide rules figuring out the results a computer gave them and no one found that odd? What exactly was that computer for? Looks? (Yes, I know that computers back then were primitive. I've used them. Still, any work that you could do with a slide rule, the computer should do. Unless you are just crap at using the thing.)

Not to be an unpleasant technocrat here but I think we need clarification: Unsolicited predictions can definitely be categorized as 'smug'. However if you ask someone; who will win what, then you're getting an answer to a question. However if you ask a smug bastard who will win what, then it's your fault that you got a smug answer.

Also this is one of the sadder episodes, looking back. All of the politicians who lost had major issues with getting anything done, sure, but when clegg was elected it seemed like things might change for the better even just a little bit from the same old shit. And knowing all about Brexit and Trump and Boris being what's to come...ugh. I guess watch what you wish for, because it sure is different.

Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment?"

The BBC has a new policy on political programmes forcing them to tone down the insults, it's a shame politicians need to be laughed at now and again.
