If there's one players that's a partial threat to Magnus currently it's Hikaru, especially in certain time controls, it's Hikaru. He's not too far off in many fast time controls, and some argue better online and definitely in bullet. Keep up the strong strong play Hikaru. He's only getting better the last couple years, and is playing Magnus without getting intimidated, which is important. Hikaru is the one to take Magnus down if anyone can. Not saying he will, but he has the best chance. He could possibly overtake him and show superiority in certain time controls. Even his live rating is moving up. It will be a while before the younger guys get that level in my opinion. Magnus is not slowing down either.
