I like lichess better in general (offline puzzles are great), but I do not like the elo inflation. It is easier to get a higher elo on lichess. For example, I am 1600 on lichess but 1300 on chesscom in blitz despite not having played on lichess in a while.

@@theepicgamer1196 yeah but this literally doesn't matter, if you know how those ratings are calculated you should know that they're platform specific by design and completely subjective, they don't relate anyhow to FIDE ratings either so basically the rating doesn't matter

@@theepicgamer1196 because they use different rating systems. Comparing them just doesnt make any sense. You can add a zero to everyones rating and be happy about your insane 16000 (omg!!) rating, doesnt make you a better player.

There is no difference than starting at 1200 on chesscom. A 1200 player on chesscom is the same level as a 1500/1600 on lichess. Lichess rating is always about 400 higher then chesscom. I am 1600 on chesscom and 2000 on lichess.
