Bit late (figuratively and literally, it's 4:30am rn T_T), but I feel like when Sai was remarking that there was "one way to win", he wasn't thinking in terms of optimal moves like AI does; he was thinking in terms of specifically how Waya and Hikaru could be expected to play from there, mistakes and all.
