Theres a difference between a 3200 Gm and a 600. Also, titled tuesday is not only for gms, its also for all titled players(including CMs). And although Hikaru mainly plays against Gms since they manage to get more points than IMs FMs and NMs he can stumble into a low rated player at the beginning .

Well, he's almost 34, has pretty much ended his competitive chess career and has a huge success as a streamer, which requires a lot less work but can be a lot more rewarding as well (I don't necessarily mean in monetary term, but really rewarding like getting to live your sport with your fans). You can't blame him for not caring.

Just curious, Hikaru do you get mentally fatigued from playing chess? I masking because I'm wondering how easy is it for you be in a really competitive tourney and still play another simultaneously

He already said in a video that he "wasted his whole life on a board game" so I think that he sometimes gets mentally fatigued from playing chess. But in the end, it's still his passion, job and field of expertise. I think he'll always have fun beating high rated grandmasters by finding the better tactics. You can see it when you watch his streams. But maybe he sometimes regrets that he spent his whole life on chess instead of doing other things.

Its his job. He says chess is high stress game. Especially in high chess tournament match. He also says that he waste a lot of time on board game. But my opinion is that hikaru cant quit chess. Becouse chess is the only fair game. He play casino, but he not play reguraly. Becouse casino is chance game, you cant win it by good move, its chance, a lucky or not game. So he back to chess, becouse in chess all fair, if you make good move you will win the game. No chance or lucky or not game, no play to win game

all players get fatigued, especially in top level classical chess where you have to sit there thinking in lines up to 20 moves for up to 6 hours. that's why top chess players try to maintain physical fitness too.
