Truly spectacular. The mountains around Dilijan reminds me of the Slovak Tatra mountains but arguably more green and appealing because there is no pollution in that part of Armenia.

Jord, if you get a chance, visit the 2nd Armenian Republic - the Republic of Artsakh. It is right next to the Armenia, and it is even more untouched, except the two year full on war in 1990s.

The historians were mentioned 5,000 years ago as one of the earliest civilized nations in the works of Plutarch, the Macedonian, Ptolomy, Dio Cassius, Strabo and many other historians. Modern and old archaeologists have discovered the oldest parts of civilization in Armenia with Armenian alphabet which is one of the oldest in the world.

Make sure to visit Ejmiatsin (Vagharshapat) too 🤗🤗 But currently you can't visit the Cathedral(Mother See) 'cause it's under reconstruction 😔 But you can visit Gayane it's not too far from the Cathedral.
