Hike

Bass Hill is the unofficial centerpiece of the city of Apple Valley. The site was the historic site of the Hilltop House, which was the home of one of the city's founding fathers, Newt Bass. From the summit, there is a commanding view over the city. The Hilltop House is no longer there, which unfortunately diminishes the hike a bit. However, the views are still abundant from the top. I also included the neighboring hill, known as Pioneer Mountain, on the hike, which doubled the high vantage point views on the hike.
