Anybody know what that 90-degree vent cover is called or where I can find it?
@MWDAdventures3 жыл бұрын
amzn.to/3cnWonr - here is the link to the 90* elbow. Our son came up with the design for the vent cover and we are working on a source to sell them. The quick look was a teaser. Stay tuned !

Matt, This is an awesome video. Please let Henry know my wife and I greatly appreciate his the details of each of the options he reviewed. We found everything very informative. Let Henry know not to worry about mounting the spare tire on the back bottom of the trailer. As he stated ( and we have experienced), with proper maintenance, he will probably never need to access it. Great info ! Good stuff! Please keep it coming. DP in MD

Old army trick. Take a wire hanger and fold the sides to create a U shape. Then you can hang clothes on them like shirts and they'll dry faster.
@ethanholshouser56482 жыл бұрын
Couldn't you just hang them on the wire hanger without folding it?
@act1v3x Жыл бұрын
I imagine when you fold the sides that creates an opening between the front and back of said short rather than keeping them "glued" together thus drying them faster

How do you attach the license plate to the galley door? Seems the cover material is so thin, with just foam inside, and it doesn't look like the screws go all the way through. What works well for this? Thanks!

Was the arb awning mounted only on the two hiker bars or is there a 3rd bar toward the front? If its only on the two bars how much is the overhang and have there been any issues with the awning flexing or bending ? I'm looking to do the same setup on my hiker but saw that arb suggests no more than 27 inches overhang.

@@henrychen3256 Why travel without the water in the milk crate? Do you think the water jug will fall out on the road or that the milk crate will break somehow on the road with the water jug in it?

Great video Matt, I’ve been watching all your videos and really enjoy them. I currently have a 34’ 5th but have been thinking about downgrading because of fuel and storage cost. I figure I can buy the hiker for 4-5 years of storage fees. I live in central California and have been interested in renting one of the hiker trailers to make sure I like it. Do you have any idea if there is anyone renting them in this area? Thanks again for all the great videos.

We have many people rent our trailer to see if they like it first too. Most of them come back and say they are putting in an order! As for rentals, the only ones I know of are us and someone in Minnesota. You could come check the Western shore of Michigan out - for some fall camping or next spring/summer. We have beautiful beaches here :-)

Awning windows should be a option instead of just horizontal sliding windows. Love the trailer design features. But the windows that open horizontally are not good for use while open during rain. Don't get it. Thanks for the segment.

I used heavy duty zip ties. I am adding a strap but usually will not travel with the water container full over long distance. Fill in town right before getting to my site is the plan.
