Nice video! We are going to walk the sheep's headway at the end of April. I was wondering, is the path well marked? I saw just a few signs in the video
@maholy89 Жыл бұрын
Thanks Melanie, yes it’s well marked like pretty much all national trails in Ireland. There are some variations the main trail tough. So it’s not a mistake to have a GPS map with you. Wish you a great trip 🙂🤞

Hi Christian, beautiful video! I am about to do the Sheep's head way clockwise. Myself and my girlfriend will be using a tent with maybe double the footprint. How easy was it to find wild camping locations? How often did you come across water sources?
@maholy892 жыл бұрын
Hey Niallo, the peninsula is pretty isolated, so wild camping is definitely easily possible all the way through. You definitely have to make some compromises here and there since the spots can be quite muddy or uneven. You should be fine though. In terms of water there are plenty of sources. However, you should use a water filter of course. Enjoy 🙂👍

@maholy892 жыл бұрын

Great video. How do you find good spots to camp? I’m afraid of being found by someone.
@maholy892 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I haven’t seen a single person on that trek. The danger of being found was pretty low 🙂 If you are afraid of that though I would recommend pitching the tent late in the evening and leave early in the morning.
