I'm not going to lie, it was probably a bad idea heading out this day when we did because of the intense summer heat - call it the foolish behaviour of a newbie tourist. It was a good lesson learned, and at least we were rewarded in the end with the beauty of the city. Have you done anything silly while visiting a location you have never been to before?
