Hiking near Bishkek didn’t go to plan… (Popular hike Ala Archa)

Under an hour's drive away from the capital city of Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan is the incredible Ala Archa National Park. Popular among city residents and travelers, this mountain range is ideal for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. In this video, we take on one of the shorter hikes.

Did you know that Kyrgyz language is closely related to Turkish language? It's a nice coincidence that you chose another Turkic country as your next destination after Turkey. But, I wish you had visited Azerbaijan before Kyrgyzstan. It's an interesting and awesome place. There are many things to see and do in Azerbaijan.

Hello! I watched your other videos on Kyrgyzstan as well, I was wondering out of the Kol Tor lake and Ala Archa, which would you prefer as a day hike out of Bishkek?

Depends on your preference! I think Ala Archa is easier to get to and you could potentially do a more chill hike. But if you like a sturdy hike Kol Tor is further away from Bishkek but the hike gets steep towards the mountain. Hope that info helps 😊
