Hiking Ryten and Kvalvika Beach

Thanks for the informative video about parking for the Ryten hike. I was here for the first time in October 2019 and will be in the parking lot for the second time in August or September. Maybe we'll see each other...

Hello, is this hike safe in late october? Or is the entire landscape and trail covered in snow by then?

While we might get a thin layer of fresh snow during the night up in the mountains around that time it’s not going to stick. You might encounter some icy sections, though, so consider bringing lightweight microspikes just in case but most likely you will not need it, and if you do, only on short sections in the morning or on north facing trails.
