I posted a week or so afterwards so the beginning of October. I went up to the tram height in the winter is was a slippery hike. Thanks for the comment.

I wentup last May got to just under 4,000 feet before my leg gave out and barely made it down on one good leg. I really admire anyone that can make it up to the tram. I need more & better conditioning If you are watching this, how is the face? I hear it is steep and advised not to chance it

@Wes1378 Thanks. I'll have to try again. I love Palm Springs and the people! I was just getting a feel for the trail - next time I'll be more serious. This trial interests me and like to view this clip to see what successful hikers view. When I was younger I tried my own route behind tahquitz canyon and got stuck repeatedly. My companion bailed me out three times God bless him where ever he is but I never went up that way again. Too steep. Above 5000 or 6000 feet it looks fairly safe

@Wes1378 what's up Wes, how are you doing? I did just what you suggested. May 21 I went up with a friend well past the first part past the benches. my legs were really hurting. it was like doing stari master to two hours. I met some great people on the way up and down including some woman that just came down from 5000 feet and told us that snakes came out about this time so we headed back.
