Last weekend, me and my friends went hiking to the stunning Deeks Lake in British Columbia! I tried to capture every beautiful moment with my Sony A7C and got some epic drone shots.🌲🚶♂️🚶♀️
The lake was half frozen, creating mesmerizing tree-like patterns on the ice that you won't believe until you see. The lush forests, bubbling streams, and the impressive waterfall made the journey just as amazing as the destination.
When we finally reached Deeks Lake, it was the perfect spot for a well-deserved lunch, a (very) cold swim, and some chill time in nature.
▶If you're planning to hike this trail, here are a few tips:
Trail Length: About 14 km round trip.
Elevation Gain: 1,000 meters, so be ready for a workout!
Difficulty: Moderate to difficult - it's steep in places, but so worth it.
Best Time to Go: Late spring to early fall.
Essentials: Good hiking boots, lots of water (many spots for refill along the trail), snacks, and a map (most of the trail is well marked).
