6:40 What a great ski hill and really nice snow conditions. I’ve watched Sophie climb up on skis and go down on a board and never even gave it a second thought. A board that turns into skis…what a cool idea. I got my first pair of skis in 1961. Let me just say that the technology has changed quite a bit since then. 😂 Different world, but snow is still snow. I like your skiing and boarding. You two obviously have been at it for a while. Very steady on your feet.

A great video! If you spend much time ashore, then I suggest that you buy a rifle or shotgun. Perhaps a Finnish M39 short rifle (7.62x54r), for a hiking companion. Lead spray is much more effective than prepper spray, in bear country. And having a rifle will also help provision you, to reduce your grocery shopping expenses. 7.62x54r will easily take down a Caribou. Of course, with a shotgun you could also shoot Ptarmigan. Or, for the ultimate in versatility, Valmet made the Model 412 combination 12 gauge/.30-06 Over and Under gun. Those were produced in the 1980s.

15:52 One really big staple was using the Fazer Cacao to make hot chocolate, I always remember them cause of the slightly creepy eyes on the packaging. Not that long ago, found quite a nice "indulgence combo", it was soft gingerbread and cheap tub vanilla ice cream. Was surprisingly good, sadly the grocery store near me stopped selling the budget vanilla ice cream (was like 2L for 1,5$).
