If the wind gets too strong we have to, but we lose a lot of space and access to cupboards and one side of the bedroom when we do.

Now that is my kind of place with the elevators back to the top :) We loved the video. going to watch it again on the big screen. Well I just checked on a HUMMER EV 3X PICKUP e4WD $138K, guess the real option is a used one from DoD. maybe 150's are not so bad.

Standard entrance is $15/person, but we got in free with our America the Beautiful pass. Reservations are also required now and can be made on the park website.

What a cool place. Just like native San Franciscans don’t think about the bridge much, and New Yorkers never make it to the Statue of Liberty, most Americans never check out its greatest treasures. Thanks for reminding us of the iconic sites. Also, that wind down there has been known to kick up serious sand storms that can blast the paint right off your truck.

We didn't mention this in the video, but the temperature in the cave is the same year round! It might be the warmest spot in the winter right now 😀

I live here the wind can get pretty bad, but its mostly fine you just have to watch for dust storms if there hasn't been any rain recently

How claustrophobic was it? I cant do small spaces. But it looks so cool in there...

There were two narrowish spots, but otherwise it was massive in there.
