As much as I worry about the safety of you doing something like this, it's pretty insane. I love seeing these crazy inventions you make to live unconventionally. It's very inspiring.

You're kind of amazing aren't you?! Thank you for this, I feel like I've been living in a black hole since March ('20), but watching this video you made has helped me to take a truly deep breath & remember that this won't last forever 🙂 Thanks again!

Michael??? Are you the guy I met on the beach of the West Coast Trail?? You had your own hiking stick and were waiting for the tide to go out so you could move along the trail. I was on my last day and you were on your first. I think you were from Pickering. I think it's you. I always wondered how you were doing.

I was on the bridge crew, flew in the large pieces with helicopter. Fun trail, highly recommended you start opposite what you did. But what you did makes more sense 👍

@007craft7 жыл бұрын
40k. I try to keep it around 17k a day tho because after that, the soles of my feet start to hurt. If I just have a day pack I can do alot more. Maybe 30k before my feet start to hurt.

PS: How do you shower?
@007craft7 жыл бұрын
Usually when im in towns ill find a shower at the laundromat, community center or public pool. Otherwise I will shower in river pools or waterfalls I come across. I also have a solar shower i keep in the car. Its a black bag you fill with water and put in the sun for an hour to heat it up and then you just hang it and water trickles out.

I've been living on the trails and out of my car for 1.5 months now. I have 100+gb of footage. I'll be done by 2nd week of September and back to a computer finally to edit up a ton of really cool stuff I've come across, way better than this episode. Bears, waterfalls, glaciers, mountains, caves, oceans, orcas, cliffs and more!

also let me tell I don't know if you live in Canada or not but it doesn't matter if we cut the old grown because we produce more trees than we cut down in Canada
@007craft7 жыл бұрын
Old growth trees are those considered 250 years or higher, sometimes even over 1000 years old. These are massive trees, and do not regrow to those sizes (due to human interference). We cannot produce more of these. You can read an article with a bit of info about the remaining trees left on Vancouver island and what it used to be like here www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/1.3683750. No1 is saying we shouldnt cut down trees, we all need wood afterall. But theres plenty of sources to get our wood from in Canada without the need to cut down old growth. The logging companies do it when they can because the trees are so big that they can easily make much more money doing so, but its a resource that is almost depleted.
