Interesting video, but expensive! David do you know if the mother board and controller on all cdh,s can be replaced with a mother board and controller that are compatible for the after burners??? Appreciate your advise and feedback.

Essentially yes. They all work exactly the same. But some heaters have different plugs so it's not always a simple plug and play swap, but any heater can be made to work with any ECU.

I'd guess the 2-minute time limit is probably anti-military use or something, akin to the low-framerates and resolutions in consumer-grade thermal imaging products, but that's just a guess...

That is a thought. But none of the other Chinese made ones have the same limitation. I wouldn't mind if it even just made a new video file every two minutes.

Not quite. The EU forced them to make the port the same as everyone else. In the EU anyway. They fought it hard though.
