Yes this was originally used on the Conotech brand of thermals, although there is some slight changes in the LRF design from various manufacturers.... it's a neat design for sure..

Sounds neat, however let's see how it performs in real life - it certainly takes 30% from the lens therefore will probably equals to F 1.3 lens aperture (if lens itself is F1.0)

@@georgidimitrov4566 Yes Inline LRF styles will reduce the physical aperture size for sure, which should affect image slightly,..Although it's not noticeable...

Hmmmm I would say nothing much matches the A7 at long range. Although in every other way this scope has a much better design and features, also pricing for the specification is good, 2560px eye displays are an expensive component , manufacturing costs of over lens LRF designs, etc This is more useable at a wider range of distances, even more so for closer up work..

Hello Andrew they are Innomount, expensive but high quality, I use these on all my own tube style scopes, as they are lightweight and very well made. Very lightweight Neil, there is a firmware update to apply on it also, weathers been real poor this last few days, so I'll give it a testing once updated soon.

There is users with the 1280px model although it's not officially released yet. These SQ50L models will land this week with us and I would say for the design and features they offer will be a great buy for anyone in the market for a thermal scope.
