This doesnt really help much though, at 4:20 it shows the system automatically finding your ip address, but what use is this when your IP address is dynamic and is going to change to something else down the track?

hi... Made this configuration ... The port 8000 is open, same for 82 (in my case not 81). Made the same port forwarding for the nas its works. Port checked and opened. For CAMPVR its still closed. I've checked (even the DMZ). The port 82 is closed too. And in the PVR configuration the ddns is still not connected. ...

Howcome you do not need to map the device in the router to port 8000? I would think you need to enable Port Forwarding for 8000 external to 8000 internal, no? I did NOT enable DMZ for the device, instead enabled port 8000 and port 81 port mapping straight to the device. Isn't this a safer way?

So I have 8 cameras installed in our house, and I can view all the cameras in HikConnect whenever I use my local wifi (which is where the cameras were connected). Now, when I get out of the house, and view my cameras using my mobile data, it gives me playback error (330007). So, tell me how to solve this problem.

You need to set up DDNS on your Camera's.

If No-ip is configured in my dvr, but not in my router, then if the IP address of my router changes then will the DVR update the IP address at No-ip? Please Answer very urgent.

You can configure NO-IP DDNS any one device Modem/DVR. The new IP will update automatically in to the NO-IP DDNS when the WAN IP is changed

@@timvorster3139 thank you for asking. No I dont i sent them back because i was told that i cannot have them on my apartment unit. But what I did learn if you want customer support ypu cannot buy these hikvision products from amazon. They will not honor anything unless you buy from am authorized hikvision retailer. Thst is my experience. The store i bought my hikvision product is not an authorized retailer. That is how hikvision protects themselves from those idiotic copycats products. Cause there is a lot of people that sell copycat unlicensed hikvision products. I hope that you dont make the same mistake I did. Take care bud!
