You say the resistor is not needed is this because you’re only using it for a short amount of time, it says in the manual that you must use it if you dont have a chime hooked up also what is the value of the resistor?

yes, i was looking forward to that too. As mentioned in the video, many video doorbells are of similar specs today. what sets a good one apart from the rest is the lag time between button press to video call. There is no point in a video doorbell with lag as the visitor would probably walk away before you get to answer it via video call.
