What's the current rule on Rebecca's putt? Everyone was saying "that counts now" but I thought it was only because you couldn't definitively say it didn't enter the basket legally when it happens from far away... but on a putt like this, is no good since we clearly saw it did not enter between the top of the basket and bottom of the band?

From my understanding it counts as long as it doesnt drop at any point walking to retrieve it. It has to remain in that position until pulled. I'm wondering when that clip was recorded.
