I still find it hard to believe our beloved queen is gone. The promise she made to dedicate her whole life to our service in that famous broadcast from Cape Town in 1947 was one she kept until the very end. Her Majesty's legacy and place in history is well deserved and she surely has to be considered one of the greatest figureheads to have ever lived. The torch has been passed to King Charles III and it represents the continuation of 1000 years of monarchy. God Save the King.
