I just love this guy! When he was said to be hurry sinking "that dude" while "he's away" - the guy immediately swim towards opponent's ship to repair it, cause it was unfair to sink someone like this. And then he decided to sacrifice his boat because he didn't want to kill someone who wasn't prepared for a fight ;_; He's really good guy and I hope he'll meet more friendly and helpful people on the way. It was really worth it to make such a play for this guy, thank you for sharing this wholesome story with us, Phuzzy

Been following SoT since before launch. First played Season 2. Now playing full time and as a new solo sloop who flies GH thank you for this. My first experience with the game was crazy, season 2 was very very calm, but when I came back to season 8, everyone was sinking me. At one point this one brig damaged my sloop and set it on fire snd just spawn killed me, I didn’t even have anything on board. I powered through that when the algorithm blessed me w Phuzzy. Now I do vaults and kraken and storm chase for shadows and even the game is mainly cosmetics it’s very beautifully designed and I love the super rare friendlies.

When I started playing on my second day, we were stacking FOTD, when a brigantine came along, formed an alliance and then betrayed us. I didn’t know how to deactivate a keg, so I pretty much just picked it up and charged after the person who dropped it.

Lol. New players can be so hilarious with how spazzy some of them are. I had one accidently sink us with our own stronghold keg then had to tell him to focus when trying to find the loot because he wanted to look at the stars. I think he learned a valuable lesson about gunpowder kegs from that.

To the annoying donator that was laughing. This is how you keep players in the game. If every new player gets killed and spawn camped by sweats they won't stay and the game will die. This was actually very well done considering it was spur of the moment.

Ah yes, skill based matchmaking. Meanwhile I, with only level 10 in Reapers and like level 2 in Athenas PvP factions get almost exclusively matched with Skeleton Curse users recently and even had 2 cheating crews already.
