It's been a while since she passed but gosh every time I come across a video of her, I almost cry. There was something about Hilary that made me love her so much. She was a brilliant entrepreneur and she was a brutally honest investor but she always seemed kind, generous and emphatic. RIP Hilary

Where are they now? The company was dissolved in 2017 and showed a loss of over £80,000 in 2016 according to Company House. According to her LinkedIn, Georgette has since moved to Australia and now owns a beach towel business called Sky Gazer Culture. That company's website still has a 2018 copyright but their social media pages are updated regularly with low levels of engagement.

Duncan looking annoyed and fed up when she messed up her pitch was ridiculous. Not to mention saying that it's a terrible awful idea. If you can say those things and get annoyed at someone who is nervous especially when they are kind, polite, passionate people you have got problems. You can rehearse a pitch over and over but you can't rehearse pitching Infront of the dragons. You can only do it once for the first time. And that is understandably a nerve wracking experience. It's simply human to get nervous.

I have to disagree on the last part. If you rehearse a pitch or speech or whatever enough times (at least 50-100 times) then the only thing that could make you lose your words would be total unconsciousness. Just walk around your home and speak it out loudly over and over again. If there are parts you struggle with, repeat those even more. And if youre pitching for a lifetime opportunity AND you know you get nervous easily then rehearse it 200-300 times.

There's something deeply flawed in a company whose entire business is a website that was commissioned by an external developer. Websites need constant attention and updates, especially if it's the main product. It's not enough to just have one made and hope it brings in the money.

@@brederbeeld Absolutely, most dropshipping is like an affiliate scheme. So you just register, may have to pay a joining fee and then you get access to do the dropshipping... so there is no room for price negotiation, rarely minimum order quantities, and the chances are she didn't speak to anyone prior to joining the scheme, although may have been assigned a contact post-join. There is a reason dropshipping hasn't replaced wholesale for ecommerce retailers. It is easy to enter but there just isn't the margins and its difficult to be competitive.
