Movies like the Freedom Writers Diary and the Ron Clark Story; they inspired me so much. I'm about to go into my Masters of Teaching. I know I'll probably never inspire people like Ms Gruell or Mr Clark, but maybe I'll be able to inspire just one student like that. Maybe I'll be able to make a difference in just one child's life. And if so, all of the struggling to get the right grades and the right references and the right work experience...it will all be worth it

My family moves around a lot and I've been to several different high schools that weren't like the one in this movie. Maybe I'm just lucky, but the point is saying you're scared of going to an American school is just the kind of attitude this movie and the actual Freedom Writers oppose.
